RG elastomeric bearings are of high quality, European standard EN 1337-3, guaranteed production in the RG Italy factory and with the necessary certificates.
About the material
They are made of elastomer - rubber layers of natural rubber NR, reinforced with embedded steel plates. Through vulcanization in special forms, a chemically indissoluble bond is achieved in a single product.
Elastomeric bearings (rubber bearings or neoprene bearings) are the elastic connection for transmitting loads between structural or bridge elements, allowing a certain degree of movement of the structure. They absorb a certain volume of vertical and horizontal loads, displacement and rotational movements, by means of their elastic deformation.

The bearings are dimensioned and calculated on the manufacturer's specialized software, according to the received assignment and characteristics.
All elastomeric bearings are manufactured in the factory in Italy, according to standard EN 1337-3 with "CE" marking and issued Declaration of Performance (DoP) according to Regulation EU 305/2011.
